Abstract
OpenIC is a software focused on VLSI digital design backend, targeting user experiences. We are building GUI interfaces and scripting interfaces for users (including students & researchers) to get full experience of open source EDA. We want to make it easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to integrate. We are also building a netlist/layout viewer for our application based on Rust.
Software
OpenIC is currently under active development. Open Source will come after initial build and crucial tests. Hope soon!
TODO Roadmap
- A scripting system for the overall design flow. - A procedure-based GUI interface, including build-in terminals. - A basic netlist/layout viewer for GUI program.
Idea
We benefit heavenly from the open source community and we want to help the community get closer to users.
