Abstract

This lightning talk gives an update on CACE, the Circuit Automatic Characterization Engine.

CACE enables the characterization of analog IPs across multiple corners and conditions. CACE can perform DRC, LVS, simulation runs and plots of parameters using common tools such as xschem, ngspice, magic, KLayout and netgen. The goal of CACE is to increase confidence in open-source IPs, through reproducible results, encouraging reuse.

This talk covers CACE's recent move to the FOSSi Foundation, new features and a look into the future.
