Abstract

I will address some frequently asked questions regarding KLayout's DRC and LVS implementation and a little beyond. I took these topics from the support inquires I am receiving from the KLayout contact mail and the forum (https://www.klayout.de/forum/).

I will use this opportunity to explain some concepts behind the implementation, and try to give advise for avoiding problems. Code and samples will be provided for experimenting yourself. My goal is to enhance your understanding of the system and give practical advise for using it.

This is also an opportunity to ask your own questions. I will try to address them and integrate them into the talk as far as time allows.
