Abstract

Fault is the first complete open-source DFT toolchain compatible with HDL designs. By providing all needed utilities to generate TVs, simulate fault sites, and insert scan chains, Fault aims to fill some of the gaps in the emerging open-source EDA ecosystem and provide provides all the needed infrastructure for research activities in digital application specific integrated circuits (ASIC) testing.
